Mission:
The mission of the CHS Academic Quiz Bowl Team is to develop the minds of 9th -12th grade students and to build confidence in the members in order for them to showcase their talents.
Requirements:
Participants must be knowledgeable in a number of academic subject areas, including: math, science, English, literature, history, art, music, and some sports.
Meetings/Competitions:
The group holds informal meetings Wednesdays during the fall semester.
We alternate meeting times-The 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month are after school, the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays are during ILT.
Formal competitions are mostly in January – March and are held after school.
We also participate in a limited number of other competitions that may be held during the school day.
Students must attend practices in order to participate in the Academic Challenge matches.
