Weekly Principal Call-Out

This is your principal Lesley Corner with the announcements for December 4-8:

Validation for all S1 courses will continue on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30-6:00 through 12/14. There will be additional opportunities after Christmas Break. However, students should begin now. 

We are continuing free math tutoring after school through 12/14.  Intermediate Algebra and Algebra 1 tutoring occurs on Mondays from 3:30-5:30 in Room  210. All other math courses have tutoring every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30-5:30 in Room 601. Students do not need to sign up in advance. 

Tomorrow, we will host a joint Parent/Student University to assist with the new FASFA in our Auditorium @ 6.  A representative from Central Carolina will be present to discuss the changes on the new FAFSA and answer questions for students and parents. 

Semester 1 final exams are on 12/19 and 12/20.  Only 12/20 is a half day.  Block 1 and 2 exams are on 12/19, and Block 3 and 4 exams are on the morning of 12/20.  Exams must be taken on the scheduled day unless a medical excuse is provided.  Approved makeup exams are on 1/4 in guidance. Students with an overall A final average for a course exempt their final exam and do not have to attend the block for that exam. Teachers will notify students who exempt the exam for their class on 12/18.
